This documentary is about the demolition of Horse Haven Ranch, a 150 year old homestead in Philo, Anderson Valley, California. The Ranch is across the road from my studio. This six-minute photo expose, with commentary, is about that demolition and the influence it had on my paintings. My commentary is about a specific place, yet apropos of poignant and inevitable change anywhere. With regard to my work, it is a piece of a greater whole: my ongoing interest and study about place and the land.
